Hearts of Compassion Ministry welcomes volunteers. Not only does that make us unique and strong, but we understand the importance of your time and will make you feel like a valued part of our organization.
If you have a passion to help the youth and elderly, you might have what it takes to help us directly or behind the scenes.
If you want to volunteer with Hearts of Compassion Ministry in any of our programs or activities, please contact us for up-to-date opportunities.
When you volunteer, you can make a difference in the lives of youth and give back to your community.
Volunteering is not only rewarding to you; it can save a child’s life. If you want to get involved in any of our programs with youth and elderly, please contact us. You make the difference in the lives of the children and families we serve. Volunteers are the heartbeat of Hearts of Compassion Ministry, helping to offset costs and allowing us to direct more donations to services supporting the youth, elderly, and their families. On behalf the youth and elderly we help, thank you for your interest!
Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age, consent to a background investigation (which has a small processing fee), complete a liability waiver, provide your signature to accept certain policies, and provide three-character references. Children safety is our priority. A background check may or may not be required, however, it depends on the volunteer’s position being applied for.
For volunteers who want to work strictly “behind the scenes,” Hearts of Compassion Ministry volunteers fill many different roles. A background check may or may not be required. Volunteers who are between 16-17 years of age may serve only with signed parental consent. Please contact us to see where your time and talent can be beneficial for our organization.
Due to the current circumstances with Covid-19, some of our programs and activities cannot be rendered at this time. All staff and volunteers must adhere to Hearts of Compassion Ministry Covid-19 policy and guidelines. Failure to abide by the policy and guidelines will results in immediate dismissal from the organization.

At Hearts of Compassion Ministry, we show compassion to those we serve and we want our volunteers to do the same. We’re a group of people who have love and compassion in our hearts for the community we serve.

There may be times when our children and senior citizens feel as though no one cares about them. At Hearts of Compassion Ministry, we want them to feel like a part of our loving family.

When we volunteer in our community, we do it from the Heart. We want all of our volunteers and the ones we serve to know that the “Hearts is Where Compassion Truly Begins.” So, we encourage you to please consider supporting and volunteering for us.
