Hearts of Compassion Ministry Board of Directors:

James Williams, Founder and Executive Director

A graduate of Waldorf University, James brings a well-rounded education, diverse skill-set, and proven leadership background to the organization. As a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and having repeatedly made the President’s and Dean’s list, James understands the importance of education and the environment needed to cultivate educational success.

James was born into a low-income family. He grew up in some of the same extreme poverty conditions in Ebenezer, MS which many of Holmes County youth are facing today. James’ mother experienced the same hardships that many single parents are going through today. James realized it takes more than education to have passion for a great cause. James passion goes deeper than education to help the youth. His passion is that of living the experience and a desire to give support back to Holmes County through Hearts of Compassion Ministry.

With a passion for helping under privileged youth, families, and the elderly in Holmes County, he has set out to provide access to the tools and resources required for youth to build successful learning habits for successful futures. Seeing that there were also unmet needs of the elder populations in Holmes County, James created an organization that would serve and support the unique needs of each demographic. Drawing on his knowledge and passion, James uses his distinct experience and well-rounded education to strengthen Holmes County, creating Hearts of Compassion Ministry.
